4. Do I need to lose weight before booking a boudoir shoot?

Absolutely not! Boudoir is about embracing yourself exactly as you are. A great boudoir photographer knows how to pose, light, and guide you to highlight your natural beauty. Confidence is what makes the biggest difference in your photos, not a number on the scale.

Wear whatever makes you feel confident, sexy, and comfortable! Lingerie is a popular choice, but you can also opt for oversized sweaters, silk robes, bodysuits, or even nothing but a sheet. The key is to choose outfits that flatter your shape and reflect your personal style.

7. Do I have to bring my own lingerie, or do you provide outfits?

Yes, most clients bring their own lingerie to ensure the best fit and personal style.  Senzua will however supply you with a white sheet that is very versatile.

8. How far in advance should I book my session?

It’s best to book at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially if you need time to shop for outfits, prep for the session, or order prints and albums for a special occasion.

9. How long does a boudoir photoshoot take?

A typical boudoir session lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours (make-up included), depending on the number of outfit changes, chosen package, and overall session flow. This allows plenty of time to get comfortable and enjoy the experience without rushing.

10. Can I bring a friend for support?

We find that extra people can make clients more self-conscious. If you’d like to bring someone, arrange with your photographer beforehand, and no males will be allowed in studio during the shoot.

11. I’m not confident in front of the camera—will you help with posing?

Absolutely! As a professional boudoir photographer I will guide(and demonstate) you through every pose, from head to toe, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. You’ll receive direction on body positioning, facial expressions, and small adjustments that make a big difference.

12. Will my photos be retouched?

Yes, we will provide light retouching to smooth skin, remove blemishes, and enhance lighting while keeping you looking like yourself. The goal is to refine—not to alter—so your images still reflect your natural beauty.

15. Can I have a drink before the session to relax?

I am fine with clients having a small drink to take the edge off, but moderation is key. Too much alcohol can affect balance, expressions, and confidence in a negative way. Always check first.

16. Will my boudoir photos be shared online?

Your photos will never be shared without your consent. We offer a custom privacy option, which means you decide whether your images can be used for marketing or remain 100% private.

17. What if I don’t want anyone to see my photos?

That’s completely fine! Boudoir sessions are personal, and you have full control over who sees your images.

18. How do you ensure my photos stay private?

We use secure, password-protected galleries and ensure that only you have access to your images.

19. Can I choose which images are edited?

We allow you to select your favorite images for retouching, so you only receive the ones you love.

20. Do I get the digital files, or only printed photos?

Some packages offer only digital images, some include albums. If you have a preference, make sure to check what’s included in your session before booking but you will also have the option to purchase extra digitals as well as albums from your proofing gallery.
